Judgement Day 2011 – Interviu cu Adrian Dejanu, promoterul evenimentului

Adrian Dejanu ne spune ce a însemnat pregătirea ediţiei a VII-a a Judgement Day România:

Judgement Day 2011 – Interview with Adrian Dejanu, the promoter of the event

The first weekend of November was a big challenge for Adrian Dejanu, the promoter of Judgement Day Romania. The event gathered over 700 sportspeople from five countries and over 2000 spectators.

The international martial arts championship is the biggest in Romania and this year’s edition has beaten the record of number of participants. The event which took place at “Sala Agronomie” in Bucharest, has gathered 42 sports clubs from Romania, Great Britan, Bulgaria, Nigeria andMexico.

Adrian Dejanu tells us about the preparations for the event:

R: What does Judgement Day represent to you and, especially, this year’s edition?
AD: The initiave to create this event came when I saw the competitions that took place in other countries. That is what I wanted to give to the Romanian public as well. For me, Judgement Day means a great challenge, because I want to give to our sportspeople a chance to fight in an international competition.

R: How did the public perceive this event, in your opinion?
AD: For the first time we had a decent crowd, for most of the time, which had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful show.

R: Did you face any difficulties in organising this event, and if so, could you tell us what they were?
AD: Yes, manly it was the lack of money. For example, the trophies cost 14,000 euro or finding a place for the event. I did find one, but I had to change it at the last minute.

R: What would you like to be different at the next edition?

AD: Basically, I want to bring more countries and personalities from the martial arts world to my event.
